Bernard G. Frieder is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor with more than four decades of experience working at the forefront of emerging technologies across Silicon Valley, London, and Israel. Throughout his career, Bernard has built a reputation for identifying transformative technologies at their earliest stages and helping innovative companies navigate the challenges of commercialization, market development, and global growth. His expertise spans venture development, technology strategy, investment advisory, business development, public policy, and international market expansion. Having worked closely with startups, investors, government agencies, and industry leaders, Bernard has played a key role in supporting companies that have gone on to create entirely new markets and disrupt established industries.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Bernard has combined entrepreneurial leadership with public sector innovation and technology policy expertise. During the Internet 1.0 revolution, he spent eight years serving as a trusted commercial and policy advisor to a wide range of United Kingdom government offices and agencies. He initially served as Vice Consul Trade and Investment and Senior Technology Sector Specialist, helping foster technology partnerships and investment opportunities between international markets. He later relocated to London to establish and lead the role of Director of Emerging Technologies within the Office of the e-Envoy in Prime Minister Tony Blair’s Cabinet Office, where he worked on initiatives designed to accelerate technology adoption and digital transformation across government and industry. His unique ability to bridge innovation, policy, and commercial strategy positioned him as a valued advisor during a pivotal period in the growth of the global technology sector.
Today, Bernard advises a select group of global clients operating across a diverse range of industries and emerging technology sectors, notably non-GPS micro-positioning system Locata. His work focuses on helping organizations secure investment, enter new markets, establish strategic partnerships, and accelerate business growth. Known for his broad international perspective, deep technology expertise, and extensive global network, Bernard continues to support entrepreneurs and leadership teams as they develop innovative solutions to some of the world’s most complex challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from New York University and remains actively engaged in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship on a global scale.
