
Andrew Hiscock
Founder and Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Hiscock serves as Chief Financial Officer of Avation PLC and has more than 30 years of international financial leadership experience, with deep sector expertise across aviation, aerospace, defence and construction. His career spans senior finance, strategic leadership, operational transformation, and growth-focused roles across multinational and high-growth businesses.
Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London in the 1990s, where he built a strong technical foundation in audit and financial advisory work across industry and commerce sectors. He subsequently joined GlaxoSmithKline, undertaking a range of financial management, commercial finance and control roles within one of the world’s leading healthcare companies.
In the early 2000s, Andrew joined NetJets Europe as Finance Director during a period of rapid expansion across the continent. He played a key role in supporting the company’s growth and strengthening its position as the market leader in private aviation services in Europe. He later served as Chief Financial Officer of Hybrid Air Vehicles, an innovative aerospace and defence company specialising in advanced unmanned and hybrid aircraft technologies, including programmes developed in partnership with Northrop Grumman. In 2013, Andrew relocated to Singapore to lead finance for ISG plc across the Asia Pacific region, overseeing financial operations and strategic support in the construction services and commissioning sectors across multiple markets.
At Avation, Andrew oversees the Group’s global financial operations, capital management, reporting, treasury and strategic financial planning, supporting the company’s long-term growth and disciplined approach to aircraft leasing and portfolio management.
Andrew’s extensive international experience combines financial discipline with strong commercial acumen and operational leadership, particularly within capital-intensive and highly regulated industries.
He holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
